Blunt Wrap Magnum: Coconut Vanilla

March 8th, 2007 by Tim

Blunt Wrap Magnum: Coconut Vanilla

When presented with vanilla-flavored smoke accessories, I tend to hold higher standards. If I believe the product falls even slightly below the bar, then I consider the attempt unsuccessful. Luckily there’s nothing to worry about on this one, Blunt Wrap Magnum: Coconut Vanilla.

theFreshScent Product Recap
Category Blunts
Company Blunt Wrap
Made In Domincan Republic
Pros Pleasant aroma
Cons Low on flavor
Price $1.50
tFS Rating 8.0/10

Blunt Wrap fuses two common flavors (coconut & vanilla) to create a pleasant tobacco wrap. Because it’s a double roll, the sheet is extra wide, enough for two adequately-sized blunts. The smell is strong and nice, sweet overtones with subtle hints of coconut oil.

Like always, Blunt Wrap manages to pull off a perfect amount of moisture, an essential part to any presentation. Kingpin, are you taking notes? The smoke is smooth without all of the harsh qualities usually existent in multiple flavored blunts. Unfortunately, there’s no added taste, which (in my opinion) is becoming more regularly neglected by blunt manufacturers.

Bottom line: This wrap should suit the average smoker (and vanilla enthusiast) unless the lack of smoke essence is a real deal-breaker.

Blunt Wrap: French Vanilla

Blunt Wrap: French Vanilla

We’ve been reviewing some crazy wraps lately, so it’s about time to hit up some of the smoother, more refined flavors. Blunt Wrap French Vanilla definitely falls into this category.

First, Blunt Wrap does a really good job packaging their wraps. The tube + saran wrap method is perfect, and stops the leaf from sticking to itself while being unrolled. The smell hits you full on – it’s less of a pure french vanilla aroma, more of a french vanilla + coffee. While smoking, I was expecting a serious dose of flavor, but no dice with this blunt. It’s the usual case of a perfect scent not being backed up by an equal flavor. Ah well.

On a side note, once out of the packaging, these wraps lose their moisture extremely quickly. So, make sure your homies are on time and roll the leaf as soon as it’s popped up.

Jamaican Papers: Blunt Vanilla

ALTERNATE TEXT

Jamaican Papers are a well known, quality manufacturer. Blunt Vanilla, one of their product staples, happens to be an early tFS favorite. Each 1 1/2″ pack contains 33 leaves. The papers are thin and smooth to the touch. Horizontal lines are integrated to ensure even burning the entire way down. One disadvantage, though, is the width of these papers far exceeds your everday spliff size.

Blunt Vanilla doesn’t add any flavor or taste to your smoke. Instead, they let you focus on the leaf content alone. This is a nice change of pace from their seperate line of Strawberry and Coconut papers. So – if a slick, even burning paper is what you’re looking for, Blunt Vanilla is a first-rate choice.
