Ah, those Brits and their dry, biting satire. This top 10 list justifies the evils of marijuana and places it just above tobacco and debt consolidation, courtesy of The Daily Mash. Think The Onion, but more polite and with worse teeth and crumpets.

More Reasons to Love this War on Drugs

This particular “Top 10″ details several studies that completely backfired on the government, like one that disproved the “gateway effect” and the inefficiency of prohibition. Also including, a few other lies that have been the government’s crutch to propagate its war on drugs.

See for yourself, but I bet you already suspected as much.

A Better Top 10 than Letterman, Maybe

The guys, over at listverse.com, published an entertaining list pointing out a few benefits of some things we’re not supposed to enjoy in life, such as ice cream, beer or smoking. For the sake of being cautious, let’s keep in mind that everything in moderation, is the best policy.

But I have a bone to pick with the writer though, Mary Jane only made #4. Herb’s at least a top three candidate. At least!

One Bad Thing That’s Good For You

A lot of the topics covered by tFS are generally conceived as having negative effects. Even things that 90% of the public considers bad for you can actually be good for you - if used in moderation of course.

Here’s a cool list from Live Science that breaks down the ‘Top 10 Bad Things That Are Good For You’. From coffee to sex, maggots to anger - this list has some pretty interesting items on it.

So where does marijuana rank? A cool 4 out of 10. Ironically, it’s now being touted to prevent memory loss. Ah, how the tables have turned.

Top 10 Most Unusual CC Products

Welcome to the first installment of a re-occurring series for tFS - the Top 10. Kind of trendy? Probably, but there’s some cool shit out there and this is as good a way as any to show it all off.

This week’s Top 10 is devoted to the odd & unusual products out there. Yes, everyone knows about bongs, blunts, papers, grinders, scales and whatever else you see at the local headshop. Today, however, we’re looking at the random, unusual, eccentric and even completely useless products that are floating around the smokosphere (you heard it here first). What started out as basic products for enjoying the simple pleasure of smoking has morphed into one-offs and completely unique products that manufacturers hope will get your attention.

Marijuana Dart Flights

Nothing says you’re down for a serious game of Cricket, 501, or stab a friend in the eye than a set of Marijuana Flight Darts. Sure all those other suckers might be sporting Playboy Bunny logos, English flags, or Jaws on their darts, but everyone will know who the real deal is once you break out with the mean green.

Seriously though, I never have and I doubt I ever will see someone shooting at the local pub with these dart flights. This is an example of creating a product for the wrong age demographic, but still, it’s nice to know they exist.
