Never Get Busted Again – Pitch Video
January 5th, 2007 by AlexHere is the (larger size) video being shown on the Never Get Busted Again website. This is basically Barry’s synopsis video that’s aimed at making you want to purchase his DVD.
The production isn’t half bad and it’s good that Barry lost the heavy East Texas accent from his younger days. You can definitely tell this guy used to sell cars for a living, he’s a good pitch-man.
Never Get Busted Again – Site Launch
January 5th, 2007 by Alex
The wait is over to see the highly anticipated Never Get Busted Again instructional DVD.
As previously reported, Barry Cooper – former “Top Narcotics Officer” – has created what is being called one of the most complete anti-drug detection videos ever produced.
This release is getting a lot of press specifically because Barry was a former police officer, getting paid to put people behind bars. Through his years in law enforcement, he became disillusioned by all the pain caused through drug busts and gained a new perspective on America’s War on Drugs.
Barry’s accomplishments seem to be genuine. He has the video footage, arrest records, performance certificates and detection training to prove that he is what he appears to be – a knowledgeable ex-police officer.
Whether his product is going to deliver the promised goods is yet to be seen.
As I write this, we’re getting a copy of Never Get Busted Again into the office. Look forward to a full breakdown of what we hope will be a ground-breaking effort in bringing drug legalization to the forefront of the American consciousness.
Former NARC Teaches How to Hide Drugs
December 28th, 2006 by Tim
So here’s the deal – there’s this Texas drug agent, Barry Cooper, that’s creating quite a stir in state law enforcement circles. According to his ex-peers, Barry’s turning his back on the good guys and now, to turn a profit, helping the so-called bad guys.
He’s produced a video called “Never Get Busted Again,” that will help potential traffickers better conceal and/or hide drugs, avoid narcotics profiling and fool canines every time.
Barry Cooper had this to say about his upcoming video:
My main motivation in all of this is to teach Americans their civil liberties and what drives me in this is injustice and unfairness in our system.
The former narcotics officer is highly decorated and was considered one of the top drug cops during his tenure in the police force. An ex-colleague had this to say:
He was even better than he says he was. He was probably the best narcotics officer in the state and maybe the country during his time with the task force.
Expect Barry’s website to launch by Tuesday of next week, with the video shortly following.
Cheers Barry Cooper, I look forward to checking out your vid.

Learn How To Survive Police Encounters
December 11th, 2006 by TimNearly as good as a ‘Get Out of Jail Free‘ card, BUSTED: The Citizen’s Guide to Surviving Police Encounters really breaks down what to do and what not to do when being confronted by a police officer.
Whether you have questionable items on you or not, it’s always reassuring to know your rights and the basics of standard law enforcement procedure. So, if they do go off-course, you recognize it then and there.
Here’s an excerpt from their official website:
Created by Flex Your Rights and narrated by retired ACLU director Ira Glasser, BUSTED realistically depicts the pressure and confusion of common police encounters. In an entertaining and revealing manner, BUSTED illustrates the right and wrong ways to handle different police encounters and pays special attention to demonstrating how you, the viewer, can courteously and confidently refuse police searches.
Who knows, some of these tips might come in handy when you see those dreaded red & blues in the rear-view mirror. Whatever the case may be, this video is nearly 50 minutes long, full of good advice and well worth the time it takes to watch.

Another Dispensary Raided in Palm Springs
December 4th, 2006 by Alex
Looks like it’s tense times for dispensaries in the deep south of California. After San Diego’s challenge to the medical marijuana laws failed, plenty of attention is still being paid to co-ops of all shapes and sizes.
This week’s Dispensary Gets Busted article is courtesy of the Palm Desert police. On December 2nd, Narcotics Division agents served a warrant on CannaHelp, a local co-op. The reason? To discover if the dispensary is selling weed for profit.
It looks like police are using this as a loop-hole to break into any dispensaries in the area, as this was the major reasoning behind 2 other local raids. Yes, co-ops are around to help patients but it’s hard to imagine anyone starting one just for the good feeling of it all.
Running a co-op is a service, and providing that service should allow operators to earn a profit. Not just cost-of-living expenses for the owner and staff.
Good news is, no arrests have been made in connection with the warrants. Stacy Hochanadel, CannaHelp’s owner, was questioned by police but called the entire process ‘professional’. It’s a good sign that she is more than willing to work with police about her books and where the money CannaHelp generates ends up going.
Still, it’s a troubling trend that more and more police units are preemptively raiding dispensaries in order to find things wrong. I’m interested about the judge behind this all and under what basis all of these warrants were signed.
Luckily, CannaHelp is back open and deserving patients will be able to access their medicine.

Cop Cookies
August 30th, 2006 by Tim
Jonathon Smith, a Washington state police officer, was forced to resign after being told that two fellow officers witnessed him buying two $1 pot cookies at a rock concert. The two officers who witnessed the event described that Deputy Smith knowingly bought cookies laced with weed at a Tool performance. Acting Police Chief James Nicks gave him the option to be fired or resign. He obviously chose the latter.
Steven Cory Mack, the dude slanging the cookies at the show, was further investigated. Police found 2.8g of herb, cookie crumbs in a plastic container, along with $300 in $1 bills in his seized 99′ Chevy Blazer.
Damn, this cop was just kicking back – ready for Maynard to blow his mind – and his fellow officers ratted him out. You can be sure that dude would’ve beene extra chill with stoners too. Ah well, one less cool cop on the streets and the world keeps turning.
