Playboy and MPP to Throw 4th Annual Party

On June 4th, 2009, the Marijuana Policy Project will host their 4th Annual Party at the famed Playboy Mansion.
While the video may not provide you with much new information on “why” marijuana should be decriminalized, executive director Rob Kampia does offer an interesting figure: the estimated costs of marijuana prohibition are ~$14 billion annually.
Perry Ferrell, Christopher “Kid” Reid and Jackie “Jokeman” Martling also render their pleas to the cause. They also have Margaret Cho, Gary Coleman, Montel Williams, Melissa Ethridge, and many others.
Since their founding in 1995, MPP has made progress reforming U.S. marijuana laws. Accomplishing this by lobbying for legislation and running ballot initiative campaigns to allow ill patients to use medical marijuana, as well as sponsoring ballot initiatives to replace marijuana prohibition with a sensible regulatory system.
Damn You Hugh Hefner

That’s right, I said it.
You’d think Hugh would be happy enough making millions off Playboy and shoving his dream life down our throats with the Girls Next Door reality show (although 2 of those 3 girls are dumb as rocks).
Now he’s at it again, except this time, shooting me right in the heart.
Let’s see if I can create a checklist:
- twins
- 19 years old
- hot and blonde
- no problem getting naked
- smoke medical marijuana
Yep, his new twin girlfriends dropped by a dispensary on Tuesday to grab some herbal medication. I’m guessing this will help the teens get relaxed while Hugh downs a couple Cialis Martinis and prepares to do things that make their father weep like a child.

Get Me an Invite, Stat!

At first, I was checking out these photos of Kendra Wilkinson, one of the “Girl’s Next Door,” with the usual ‘playmate in lingerie at some premier party’ attitude. Then, I noticed something familiar in the background. Something, very familiar.
The Blunt Wrap logo. Plus, something I hadn’t seen before, Kush Cognac.
This party just started combining a few of every guy’s favorite vices: girls, smoking and drinking. So what the hell is this party, and how do I get invited to the next one?
Turns out it was the Great American Run Kick Off Party by National Lampoon at the Playboy Mansion. It took place earlier this month and was a hefty $650 a person to get in, you know, with the GND and Ludacris around…
Generally, National Lampoon has been dropping some really shitty movies on us, but it looks like they know how to throw a get together. If I get wind of their next launch party, and assuming they don’t read the statement above, you can bet your ass I’m gate crashing.
