Kulu: De Grootte van de koning
29 januari, 2007 langs Alex

| Bedrijf | ZenSmoke |
| Binnen gemaakt | Spanje |
| Pros | Rook goed, betere lijm |
| Cons. | Geen echte smaak of geur |
| Prijs | $2.49 |
| tFS Classificatie | 7.0/10 |
Being as big as they are, I’d like to think they’d have the potential to excel in this department but these papers fall slightly short with this basic fruit flavor.
Juicy Jay’s: Candy Cane
November 27th, 2006 by Alex
Well, Thanksgiving is over and that means it’s officially the start of the Christmas season. Why not start with a holiday treat? Say … Juicy Jay’s Candy Cane papers?

| Pros | Holiday cheer? |
| Cons | Can have weak glue |
| Price | $2.00 |
| tFS Rating | 6.5/10 |
This obviously isn’t one of Juicy’s big sellers, but it is cool for some holiday cheer. It’s nice to see paper companies mix things up (well, except for Sizzling Bacon flavor) and give its customers some seasonal variety.
Brown Sugar: Strawberry
November 22nd, 2006 by Alex
Sporting a new cover design compared to first generation packaging, Brown Sugar is back. They’ve also released some new (and unsurprisingly common) flavors for our smoking pleasure.

| Cons | Very common flavor |

Unfortunately, you can tell the little things have been done that make Golden Wrap leaves stick out from the pack, while the Brown Sugar just kind of blends in with the background. They aren’t as uber-infused with a strawberry essence as other brands.
As more manufacturers enter the game, we’re going to see very similar products. Even ZenSmoke, which has multiple lines underneath its brand name, puts out similar shit compared to other papers in their own product line. The strawberry papers from Brown Sugar are good. They won’t blow your socks off, but won’t disappoint either.
Golden Wrap: Peach
September 12th, 2006 by Alex
When it comes to smell, taste, smokeability and any other category you can think of - Golden Wrap comes through. Gummed leaves make sure you get a strong, even seal when rolling. The peach smell is on target, but not too strong. Everything smokes smoothly and generates a really nice aroma.
When I’m able to say something negative about Golden Wrap papers, tFS readers will be the first to know. Fortunately, today is not that day.
Brown Sugar: Island Blend
August 31st, 2006 by Alex
These 1 1/4″ papers don’t quite stick out as much as previous flavors have. The leaves themselves are still coarser & slightly thicker than other Zen Smoke offerings like Juicy Jay’s, Chills or Elements. The smell is weird - it’s basically a combination between a scratch and sniff sticker & some cinnamon. Not what I would instantly associate with the tropics.
When smoked, Island Blend fades into the noise - no flavor added to any aspect of the leaf. Still, these papers are solid. They burn well and add some texture to your smoke. Not everything needs to get the job done with style.
Golden Wrap: Strawberry
August 29th, 2006 by Alex
Finding a solid brand of papers you can always enjoy is like learning of a long lost brother - priceless. Golden Wrap Strawberry is one of 5 flavors that serve up a different angle on your smoking experience.
The papers are slightly smaller than King Size, the leaves are coarser and thicker than your average Joe, and the flavor seems deep soaked into each leaf. When it comes to the smell, these suckers are exactly like strawberry candy. You know, the ones with the strawberry wrappers and the gooey stuff inside? Ah well, just look to below then.

These are the first papers I’ve come across that are completely infused with flavor. Almost every aspect gives off strawberry overtones - the smoke, the taste, the smell … everything. Shit, they even burn nice, even and slow. Golden Wraps are definitely top notch and a solid choice to keep on you all the time. Expect more flavor reviews from this company soon.
Jamaican Papers: Blunt Vanilla
August 21st, 2006 by Alex
Blunt Vanilla doesn’t add any flavor or taste to your smoke. Instead, they let you focus on the leaf content alone. This is a nice change of pace from their seperate line of Strawberry and Coconut papers. So - if a slick, even burning paper is what you’re looking for, Blunt Vanilla is a first-rate choice.
