Obama Inhales Inhaled

When you hear about political figures discussing drug-related topics, it’s mainly followed by a conservative, hard-lined stance. Democrat Barack Obama is refreshingly on the other side of the fence. Projecting an atmosphere of honesty, the Illinois Senator states in his new book, “I inhaled — that was the point.”
Wait a minute, politicians aren’t allowed to say that. Are they? This seems to go against everything that’s been brewing since the Reagan administration and it’s a damn nice change of pace.
Senator Obama doesn’t just go against the flock with that one opinion either. He has openly stated that he does not practice a specific religion. Another move sure to enrage the conservatives.
With hints floating around on Senator Obama running for 2008’s Presidential Election, what’s difficult to predict is the public’s reaction to his earlier experience(s) with pot.
