Agwa de Bolivia Coca Leaf Liqueur

February 17th, 2009 by Perry

Agwa

Agwa, a new Bolivian liqueur, brings to you all the charm and blurry memories a bottle of Jagermeister will, but without the black licorice taste and smell (which makes for the foulest-smelling hurls ever).

Some people love Jager, and they will also probably like this prunier, speedier version made from Coca leaf, caffeine and ginseng in a shade of green comparable to Incredible Hulk.

Like most new alcohols, it was created with a page full of drink ideas aimed at making the liqueur a little more palatable and less pruny.

After the jump is a picture of a bottle of Agwa so you know what to look for at BevMo.
