You can tell from the picture, that JB put a little too much ‘extreme’ into one blunt wrapper. Drinking Mountain Dew, Juicy tried to re-create the famous sugary flavor.

At first, the wrap smells very similar to Juicy’s Blunt & Mild flavor. After letting it sit for a while, you pick up on hints of sweet with deeper undertones, like a sweet coffee or a latte with too much sugar.

As far as definable traits are concerned, that about covers it. The smoking experience doesn’t give off anything unique. No taste added to your blunt and no aroma emitted. Too bad, because I was expecting really good things from something with such a bold name.

Even though there isn’t as much personality as expected, the smoking experience wasn’t unpleasant. This wrap still brings the high quality Juicy Blunts manufacturing process – even burn and no runs.

This wrap won’t cause panic in a large Japanese city, but it will set you well on your way to personal devastation.

This wrap adds to the already extensive line-up of ‘-berry’ flavored Juicy Blunts. All are made in the Dominican Republic and have a thin, glued edge for a tight seal. The blunt smells surprisingly true to form. You get a blueberry sweetness up front and a subtle blackberry tartness in the background.

This particular wrap came with a rip from the factory, which is the first defective JB the tFS staff has ever encountered. The wraps themselves are fairly fragile, especially the thinner, gummed end. Remember to handle with care and don’t pass off the rolling duties to the guy with butterfingers.

When smoked, this blunt comes in smooth. It also burns with a nice blueberry scent that lingers in the air. A perfect compliment to the natural taste of the smoke. Like most Juicy Blunts, there isn’t any flavor added to the smoke itself, but the remaining aspects more than make up for this oversight.

Picking up a hybrid blunt wrap is often a gamble. The wager pays off with this Juicy Blunts selection.

By now, our regular readers should know that all Juicy Blunts come with a tapered edge for improved leaf adhesion. They also share the same manufacturing process, which results in consistently high quality wraps. What Juicy doesn’t do is put the same effort into researching and executing each flavor. To be honest, tropical passion doesn’t live up to its namesake.

The aroma for this wrap was extremely hard to pinpoint. After a lot of debate, it was decided that tropical passion really means sweet cantaloupe. Still, it almost seems that Juicy threw too many scents into this batch and ended up with a very indistinct overall impression.

Tropical Passion provides no leaf taste, smoke taste or smoke aroma. There are quite a few other JB wraps that come to mind before I would recommend this one.

If you’re going to do an exotically-themed blunt wrap, get it right, because the market is already full of them. It’s like bringing a Mustang to a parking lot full of Ferraris… you won’t stand out.

Juicy Blunts released a Pear flavored blunt in their latest flavor pack. We covered almost all the flavors in previous reviews and were generally impressed by them. Too bad Pear doesn’t fit in with its brothers. On the positive side, the wraps characteristics make this review extremely easy to do.

The wrap smell? Nothing like pear, completely synthetic. The wrap taste? None. Taste of the smoke? None. Smell of the smoke? Nothing like pear. That’s about as bad a job as you can do on a high-end, flavored wrap. Juicy is almost always pinpoint with their aromas, but need to seriously go back to the drawing board on this one.

To get a 5.0/10 rating there needs to be absolutely no resemblance to the flavor on the packaging. If you think about it, that’s pretty damn hard to do. The only positive I can say is that atleast the leaf didn’t taste bad, it just didn’t taste anything like a pear.

Hopefully, our next review has a much more positive tone.

Following the trend of their latest releases, the packaging is eye catching and each contains 1 leaf. The tapered edge makes rolling the blunt smooth and easy. Leaf smell is great, Juicy did a good job combining the smells. The mango slightly over powers the papaya, but you can tell both aromas are present. The wrap burned smooth even if there wasn’t any taste added to the smoke. Also, a slight mango aroma was given off by the blunt while it burned.

Overall, this is a very solid blunt that just needs a little more personality to take it to the top.

Dipping into Juicy Blunt’s newest line of flavors, Peach Cognac is a wrap that promises the whole package. It’s always a pleasure to roll JB’s because the high leaf quality and tapered edge (for good adhesion) are a constant.

First thing you notice is the smell and how it’s pinpoint accurate. Juicy is starting to get damn good at recreating almost any aroma. I guess practice makes perfect.

This wrap doesn’t add any flavor to your smoke but does fill the air with a deep peach smell. It also smokes smooth and burns even. Overall, this blunt is solid and worth trying out.

Hard as it is to imagine, mankind was rolling joints and blunts long before LLC’s were dropping strawberry-flavored wraps. How did they do it? By taking a natural leaf, wrapping it around some crushed herbature and smoking the hell out of it. It was never rocket science, but today’s technology makes enjoying the green leaf easier than ever.

Enter 2006 and <a href="http:www.zensmoke.com/" title="ZenSmoke"Juicy Blunt’s 100% natural leaves. Our staff was looking forward to something more interesting than the everyday blunt wrap. Not sure what to expect, the ziploc-esque bag was ripped open and a strong coconut smell released. The vanilla in these wraps is understated compared to the overpowering aroma of coconut.

Unfortunately, after the smell, things turn South. The leaves are wrapped in a big, gooey clump. They are covered in a brown, sticky substance that stains your fingers. There is no glue, so these take some real craftmanship to keep together. It’s probably a good idea to let the leaves dry for a couple of hours before using them.

A main aspect to point out is the shape of these wraps. Obviously, leaves aren’t made with perfectly straight edges, neither are these Juicy Blunts creations. The shape of your blunt is going to heavily rely on the shape of the leaf. Straight out of the packaging, getting the greenage tight inside its wrap is close to impossible.

Fortunately, there is an upside, and that’s smoking mother nature’s products. Post-rolling, these wraps smoke like a dream. Light, smooth and full-flavored – you’re going to find a hard time getting a better burn. Overall, we found that the 100% natural wraps are both more work and more reward. I don’t recommend them for the beginner smoker but can definitely see the appeal of these wraps to those willing to put in the work.

The wrap itself smells exactly as advertised – a heavy tobacco aroma with a nice dose of sweetness. The blunt tastes semi-sweet and doesn’t add much of a taste to your smoke. This is fine though, because with a name like Sweet N’ Natural, I’d expect nothing less.

Juicy Blunts delivered on this one. It’s a nice change of pace to smoke something that isn’t imitating some tropical fruit or a mixed drink concoction.

The banana split is a complex flavor and not something easily captured in a blunt wrap. Juicy starts us off with a pure fudge smell and no hint of banana. Usual leaf quality and the thin ‘easy roll’ strip help out with the rolling duties. The blunt doesn’t give off much of a smell and delivers jack shit in the taste department. I’m still not sure why some JB blunts are loaded with flavor while others have none.

Essentially, this blunt fails to deliver on a promise. Hopefully, the people out there who love fudge will buy this up off the shelves.

This wrap smells bomb and has just the right mix of its two main flavors. You don’t get any taste while smoking, but it does leave a sugary sweet flavor on your lips after every puff. Also, as a bonus feature, there is a 1″ wide ‘thin strip’ at the end of each Juicy wrap – this cuts down on rolling time.

Overall, this cinnamon treat is different enough from your average blunt to be worth a try. Pick it up and tell us what you think.

It’s common knowledge ZenSmoke is a company that loves to experiment. Sometimes they create awesome flavors and other times they spawn complete garbage. It’s like comparing Mello Mango to, say, Sizzling Bacon. No contest. Today we’re looking at another weird, one-off creation – Juicy Blunts Brass Monkey.

Brass Monkey gives off an odd smell. It’s almost like a combination between oranges, syrup and an unidentified bitterness. The taste is nothing special, more of a dulled down orange flavor than anything else. Texture and burn quality are decent, but nothing amazing.

It’s my experience that the highly experimental papers / blunts out there are frequently disappointing. Resulting from a lack of R&D, smells aren’t quite on target and taste is almost non-existant. As long as Juicy Blunts, and others, focus on developing their core product line they will have the leeway to keep making these unique creations. Still, it’s high time the quality control bar is raised.
