Brown Sugar: Island Blend

Zen Smoke is green-lighting all tropical flavors right now, so here’s their latest product from the Brown Sugar line – Island Blend.
These 1 1/4″ papers don’t quite stick out as much as previous flavors have. The leaves themselves are still coarser & slightly thicker than other Zen Smoke offerings like Juicy Jay’s, Chills or Elements. The smell is weird – it’s basically a combination between a scratch and sniff sticker & some cinnamon. Not what I would instantly associate with the tropics.
When smoked, Island Blend fades into the noise – no flavor added to any aspect of the leaf. Still, these papers are solid. They burn well and add some texture to your smoke. Not everything needs to get the job done with style.
