Puesto que estamos ya en el tema, aquí está un más photoset de otro busto grande de la cocaína.
En Colombia, un lugar no conocido para su seguridad de tráfico, a tonelada de la cocaína fue descubierto después de que el carro que la transportaba se estrellara. Debe ser un día agradable para que los oficiales de policía tengan libras 2.000+ de la caída justa del coque en su regazo como eso.
Usted sabe que las cabezas rodaban en alguien bodega después de un tornillo para arriba de esa proporción.

El asimiento de la cocaína en el mar hace historia

El día de y los días que conducen a 4/20 crean típicamente su propia generosidad de ambos favorable y contra- presión de la marijuana. Este fin de semana era, sin embargo, un cambio definido del paso.
Las noticias de la cocaína inundaron los airwaves cuando el busto más grande adentro marítimo la historia fue descubierta.
De las orillas de Panamá, el guardacostas descubrió cerca de ~30.000 libras del título de la cocaína de del norte en una nave de 330 pies. Cuando los oficiales subieron a la nave, descubrieron los envíos ocultados en dos envases. Este busto solamente tenía un valor de la calle cerca de $450 millones.
Anterior en el mes, dos otros bustos mar-basados ocurrieron. Uno donde un cortador del guardacostas persiguió abajo de un speedboat con 2.000 libras de valor del yeyo. Otros cuando 900 libras de coque fueron encontradas en un buque de pesca de Ecuadorian. Eran el intentar cogido sacar datos las mercancías sobre speedboats de la costa de México.
Total, un mal fin de semana para Montana Tony y equipo.

Destrucción del narcótico de Perú

Puesto que demostramos cada uno cómo Macedonia consigue abajo cuando viene al narcótico que destruye, puede ser que también guardemos ir de la tendencia.
Este photoset demuestra a policía en Perú que se quema cantidades grandes de varias drogas ilegales. Para ser exacto, encima 5 toneladas de la cocaína, de la marijuana, del opio y de la heroína.
Esta hornada cubre los 4 meses pasados de los esfuerzos de la aplicación de ley de Perú.

Apenas en caso de que usted todavía está interesado, aquí está un photoset rápido de Macedonia involving tons of drugs, a steel mill and temperatures hot enough to melt the Terminator 1000.
So what exactly was destroyed? Only 150 kilos of hashish, 250 kilos of marijuana, 80 kilos of heroin, 30,000 ecstasy pills and 16 kilos of cocaine worth a street value of almost 4 million Euro.

Pot Odor Not Grounds for Search

The AP is reporting on a ruling in Utah that might have some lasting repercussions with police forces across America.
In the case of Bernadette Duran vs. the Carbon County Police, the Utah Supreme Court ruled 4 - 1 against the legality of seizure without a warrant, purely based upon the odor of marijuana emanating from the residence.
The general belief behind the ruling, is that if the Utah Supreme Court ruled that entry and seizure without a warrant (purely based on odor) was legal, police would feel “empowered” to check for other crimes on baseless assumptions. In other words, search an underage teenager for cigarettes if their clothes smelled like smoke or other liberty-eroding processes.
This ruling will be noted by police across the country, and make them think twice before attempting search & seizures on such subjective evidence.
Still, don’t go blazing in a parking lot and expect the police to just look the other way and leave you alone. There’s a difference…
Cocaine Cowboys

Cocaine Cowboys is based on a true story of how Miami became the drug, murder, and cash capital of the US, recounted by the folk who made it all happen.
It’s a full-length feature film, nearly two hours long. And boy if you love stereotypes, this movie’s got ‘em. So if this sounds like something that might interest you, watch it. If not, just put it on during a party… I’m sure it’ll capture somebody’s attention.
Avoid Hitting State Patrol Cars @ 70mph

It’s been a while since someone has straight-out qualified for our dumbass category, but this guy brings the game to a whole new level.
Instead of waiting for police to actually determine he was doing something illegal and then arrest him, the 54 year old driver (pictured above) decided to slam his Chevy Malibu into a police cruiser at 70 miles per hour.
After attending to the officer with minor injuries, police found 43 pounds of marijuana in his trunk. They also found a few smoked joints and trace amounts of cocaine. After everything was figured out, the driver was charged with possession of cocaine, driving under the influence and trafficking.
If there’s any lesson to be learned here by criminals, it has to be buy a redbull to keep yourself awake and don’t do cocaine while you’re driving. Dumbass.

Here is a really excellent interactive flash animation done by the University of Utah.
What it does is simply & effectively explain the different ways that illegal substances interact with the brain. As an added bonus, it’s a pretty damn cool presentation with well-animated mouse characters that fit all the stereotypes of the major drug users in this country.
Marijuana, methamphetamines, ecstasy, heroin, alcohol, LSD and cocaine are all covered and each one affects us in different ways. You learn something new everyday…
