The Hundreds Release ‘09 Summer Line-up
May 6th, 2009 by Rick
The Hundreds, one of the best LA-based street brands, have released their new summer line. The drop consists of denim jeans, tees and snap-back caps that look fucking nice.
Hundreds demin always hits the right note, and this summer they’re coming with multiple cuts, colors and washes. Each pair comes with the iconic ‘Jags’ design on the back-left pocket.
The tees are everything you’d expect, from strong logo work to original summer-styled graphics. Even though The Hundreds has a booming fitted cap program, they still bust out eye-catching snap-back designs for the triple digit weather that’s about to hit Southern Cal.
Both the denim and t-shirts will be available Thursday, May 7th, at the two retail Hundred’s stores located in Los Angeles and San Francisco and usual online outlets.
Visit The Hundreds blog for more information on their new line-up and other random inner workings at HQ.
Mayor Crusades Against Baggy Pants
May 4th, 2009 by Russ
A Florida mayor, apparently nostalgic for Nazi Germany, has lobbied to criminalize the wearing of baggy pants in his town. Last year, Riviera Beach mayor, and assumed facsist, Thomas Masters, convinced 72% of his constituents to pass a town ordinance that fined baggy pants wearers to the tune of $150. Repeat offenders can earn larger fines and even mandatory jail sentences.
Riviera Beach officials consider baggy pants to be part of a culture associated with drug dealing and other criminal activity. Apparently local police have found it too difficult to effectively prosecute laws already in the books, so they have taken to locking up those citizens without pre-approved attire. An unusually sane Palm Beach judge has already ruled the ‘Saggy, Baggy Pants Law’ unconstitutional, but Mayor Masters isn’t giving up so easily.
Reports from his administration indicate that he is considering future proposals to criminalize slang speech, wearing crooked baseball caps, and driving while under the influence of 50 Cent.
Get ‘Stoned’ With FUCT
October 22nd, 2008 by AlexFUCT has dropped a new look at some t-shirts in their Fall/Winter 2008 release. They’re all bright, hand-drawn and definitely grab attention.
One after my own heart is the ‘Stoned’ t-shirt. If you can’t recognize it, take a long look in the mirror.
FUCT’s recipe combines one part Zig Zag man, one part Rolling Stones lips and one part lit joint. Mix that up with some bright colors and a checkered background, and you have yourself one bad ass t-shirt.
More images after the jump, including others from their line…
