Talk to Frank? I Wanna Talk to Sampson!
February 17th, 2009 by Perry
Not to mention spending millions of dollars on this thing, Britain’s new drug ad campaign, Talk to Frank may be the worse idea I’ve ever heard, ever.
Emphasizing the pyschoactive properties of marijuana, the commercials imply that smoking the drug could in all probability lead to schizophrenia… or worse. Not to mention living in a small apartment and being addicted to the drug as well as junk food.
As if the message wasn’t irritating enough, you also have to try and figure out what the hell is going on as 12 of the same bad British actor runs around the screen cloned and talking to himself.
Who are these people going crazy after smoking a joint? Is it like some allergic reaction I don’t get? Because most people just sit there and enjoy the experience, they don’t run around and yell at themselves.

Pro-Marijuana Billboards in Colorado
October 27th, 2006 by Alex
In Colorado, the leading front for marijuana reform is developing. SAFER Colorado is making a strong push for publicity before the upcoming vote on Amendment 44.
So, what’s the best way to get the word out? The same way anyone who wants to successfully promote something does it – with a hot broad in a bikini. Damn smart move.
On a more serious note, this ad clearly points out the obvious benefits of marijuana over alcohol. When stated so clearly, it’s hard to ignore the evidence. Hopefully, a majority of the Colorado people feel the same way and start pushing the US one step closer to legalization.
