Phillies: Blunt
March 14th, 2007 by Alex
One of the most well-known methods to roll up some bud is with the classic Phillies Blunt.

The taste isn’t anything spectacular, it’s actually what you’d expect. The smoke is light & pleasant, not heavy at all. Phillies burn at a faster pace but will be more than adequate for two (and up to four) people.
If you ever find yourself stuck in a situation where you need to roll but don’t have a nice wrap, just find a local mart and grab one of these guys. They’re found all over the place, making it the most commonly stocked blunt wrap around. It’ll do the job without busting your wallet and that’s always a plus.
Blunt Wrap Magnum: Coconut Vanilla
March 8th, 2007 by Tim
When presented with vanilla-flavored smoke accessories, I tend to hold higher standards. If I believe the product falls even slightly below the bar, then I consider the attempt unsuccessful. Luckily there’s nothing to worry about on this one, Blunt Wrap Magnum: Coconut Vanilla.

Like always, Blunt Wrap manages to pull off a perfect amount of moisture, an essential part to any presentation. Kingpin, are you taking notes? The smoke is smooth without all of the harsh qualities usually existent in multiple flavored blunts. Unfortunately, there’s no added taste, which (in my opinion) is becoming more regularly neglected by blunt manufacturers.
Bottom line: This wrap should suit the average smoker (and vanilla enthusiast) unless the lack of smoke essence is a real deal-breaker.
Kingpin: Paradise Peach

The ZenSmoke blunt I’m reviewing today is Kingpin: Paradise Peach. Right off the bat, you’ll notice the presentation sets this blunt apart from the rest and I’m not saying that’s a good thing.

The hard-shell plastic tube can be used later for safe blunt or joint transportation (and who knows, that might be a strong selling point to some.) The leaf itself is wrapped around a straw with plastic sheet between the folds.
This Kingpin did smoke nicely though. The taste of the smoke was extremely smooth and leaves a sweetness on the mouth. It even burns at a slower than average speed, perfect for a group session.
Overall, the initial unwrapping of the packaging left me slightly dumbfounded on how I was going to roll with this dry-as-hell leaf. Yet, despite having some bad luck with this selection, I wouldn’t mind trying another Kingpin.
Big Sac’s 1oz. Blunt
February 21st, 2007 by AlexWhat happens when people have lots and lots of weed and too much free time? Well, this video I guess.
Still, these guys have a ways to go before they start approaching the world record. With practice their time just may come…

Blunt Wrap: Cosmopolitan
August 22nd, 2006 by Alex
The experience starts off strong with a well designed wrap – no creases or kinks in the leaves and a serrated side for better edge bonding. Moving on to the smell, you’ll notice that the Cosmo is particularly true to its name. Good texture accents the sweet taste and accompanying aroma when rolling this blunt. As a nice change of pace, Royal Blunts has been kind enough to provide a product that adds some flavor to your smoke. It’s more delicate than most flavors as the Cosmopolitan is not an over-powering drink to begin with.
Expanding beyond the boundaries of one’s usual flavors can be dangerous, but the Cosmopolitan is a more than solid wrap that justifies all the experimentation on the shelves these days.
Royal Blunts: Wet Mango
August 15th, 2006 by Tim
The smell is absolutely perfect. If it was bottled and made into an incense, I’d be burning them all day long. Royal Blunts have a good texture, and like Juicy Jay’s, add a thin layer of glue to the end of their blunt leaves. This is tight, because it makes rolling a much easier job.
Wet Mango is heavy hitting on all major blunt criteria except for the taste. There’s barely any flavor added to the smoke - maybe a hint of a hint. Overall, this is one of the best mango blunts on the market and is definitely worth copping at your local headshop.
