Juicy Blunts: Black and Blueberry
April 20th, 2007 by Tim
Creating hybrid flavors is a very challenging feat for most blunt manufacturers. Many attempts miss their mark and turn out resembling a botched science experiment. Not Juicy Jay’s. Their Black & Blueberry blunt wrap manages to successfully meld two distinct flavors.

This particular wrap came with a rip from the factory, which is the first defective JB the tFS staff has ever encountered. The wraps themselves are fairly fragile, especially the thinner, gummed end. Remember to handle with care and don’t pass off the rolling duties to the guy with butterfingers.
When smoked, this blunt comes in smooth. It also burns with a nice blueberry scent that lingers in the air. A perfect compliment to the natural taste of the smoke. Like most Juicy Blunts, there isn’t any flavor added to the smoke itself, but the remaining aspects more than make up for this oversight.
Picking up a hybrid blunt wrap is often a gamble. The wager pays off with this Juicy Blunts selection.
Da Bomb Blunts: Bubonic Blueberry

I know everyone misses seeing Nate Dogg and his orange hat, so it’s time to review another blunt wrap from Da Bomb Blunts. Today, I’m focusing on their Bubonic Blueberry flavor.

| Pros | Light blueberry smell |
| Cons | Crease in the wrap |

The wrap smells like light, summer blueberries. It’s nice to grab a hold of something with an accurate scent instead of a very synthetic smelling reproduction. There’s no special features added to the blunt that might aid in rolling – a tapered end, serrated edges – none of that. What they do have is a quality leaf that burns slow and smooth.
Surprisingly, when lit, this blunt gives off a strawberry like aroma. It doesn’t necessarily taste like blueberries but still makes the whole smoking experience a good one. There are plenty of ways to go wrong with a blunt wrap but Da Bomb Blueberry is a more than solid choice.
Blunt Wrap: Blueberry Burst
September 14th, 2006 by Tim
As usual, Blunt Wrap delivers on leaf quality – serrated edges and perfect moistness. Right when opening the blunt you get an intense serving of blueberry. During the roll, you’ll notice it’s more of a confused blueberry scent. Blunt Wrap have mixed something in there that’s hard to identify. Unfortunately, the smoke added no smell or taste, but the leaf itself had a sugary coating on it.
Overall, I liked this wrap. Not too much on the flavor but a solid buy nonetheless.
