Remember to handle with care and don’t pass off the rolling duties to the guy with butterfingers.
When smoked, this blunt comes in smooth. It also burns with a nice blueberry scent that lingers in the air. A perfect compliment to the natural taste of the smoke. Like most Juicy Blunts, there isn’t any flavor added to the smoke itself, but the remaining aspects more than make up for this oversight.
Picking up a hybrid blunt wrap is often a gamble. The wager pays off with this Juicy Blunts selection.
Exclusive: Sector 7G Twister Pipe
April 12th, 2007 by Alex
Early last month, we received a very interesting package from Oscar, the brains behind Sector 7G.
This little-known Stockholm, Sweden based company has two focuses – a commitment to stealth smoking and designing/building products with some of the highest quality craftsmanship in the industry.
One of those products is the Twister Pipe
| theFreshScent Product Recap | |
|---|---|
| Category | Pipes |
| Company | Sector 7G |
| Made In | Sweden |
| Pros | Ingenious design |
| Cons | Bowl heats quickly |
| Price | $20 - $30 (depending on size) |
| tFS Rating | 8.0/10 |
As stated before, you immediately notice the thought put into the design process for this instrument of smokocity. Twister arrives in a styling, red suede pouch with an information booklet included.
The pipe itself is split into 3 pieces – a bowl, spring (the shaft) and mouthpiece. All 3 interconnect without actually needing a threaded interior – simply push and/or pull while turning counter-clockwise.
The fancy part of this device, the spring, keeps its shape surprisingly well and snaps back into place after being bent and twisted. Small touches, like a laser-etched Sector 7G logo beneath the bowl, add personality above and beyond the regular metal pipe.

The Twister Pipe has many interesting features. The first, and one of the most useful, is the ability to pack down the bowl with the mouthpiece.
Be careful though, after enough times bending the spring upwards, there’s a chance it might pop-out from its interlock with the bowl and catch you on the knuckles or wrist.

We found that even after one hit this pipe gets warm to the touch. Snap a full bowl and you’ll be feeling the burn in more places than you’re supposed to.
The spring shaft allows you to bend and adjust the rate of air-flow while you’re taking a hit. I find this acts very similar to a carb on your more conventionally designed pieces. There’s no actual screen, so be prepared for some ashes to make it through.
The Twister hits hard and smoothly. While taking a fat rip, as with the majority of metallic pipes, you feel that warm, molten taste on your tongue. Still, this product gets the job done effectively.

It’s rare to see a company pushing the boundaries of design while still putting out quality-built products. When it comes to stealth smoking, you have to live with the trade-off of some performance setbacks for the lower profile that’s provided.
This is definitely one of the most unique smoking devices I’ve encountered, and after working with it firsthand, it’s gotten on my good side.
Dutch Masters: Corona Deluxe
March 28th, 2007 by Alex
The classic Dutch Master: Corona Deluxe is and will be forever a favorite of mine. This cigar has all the major elements required to make a great blunt.
| theFreshScent Product Recap | |
|---|---|
| Category | Blunts |
| Company | Dutch Master |
| Made In | USA |
| Pros | Nice outter leaf |
| Cons | Can canoe easily |
| Price | $1.00 to $1.25 |
| tFS Rating | 8.5/10 |
Second, the outer leaf can be easily taken off when lightly moistened and used for the final preparation of the blunt. This comes in handy for beginner blunt rollers who don’t have the control with just one leaf. Make sure to keep it moist!
The inner leaf is big enough to roll up any size blunt that may be needed. You can chop it down for a mini or leave it full size for a serious session. And to top it, off just wrap up the inner leaf with the outer leaf for a nice tight blunt.
Last but not least, these cigars burn at the perfect speed. Not too fast and not too slow. However, I have had some difficulty with these blunts canoing every now and then. Luckily, this can be fixed with some saliva near the burning edge.
I have always enjoyed a nice Dutch Master: Corona Deluxe and with all the flavors out now, you can easily find one that fits your taste! And for all you beginner rollers, a Dutchie is a great way to perfect your skills.

Mountain High: King Size Cones
March 15th, 2007 by Alex
There are many devices being made that allow the smoking experience faster, easier and better. Some prefer the ‘by hand’ method of rolling, but not everyone. Today, I’m reviewing Mountain High: King Size Cones, the original pre-rolled smoking papers.
| theFreshScent Product Recap | |
|---|---|
| Category | Papers (Pre-rolled) |
| Company | Mountain High |
| Made In | N/A |
| Pros | Amazingly easy roll |
| Cons | A little pricey |
| Price | $1.25 |
| tFS Rating | 8.5/10 |
Moving into the cones, they are thin (semi-transparent) rice papers. They come in packs of 3 and each one has the ‘Cones’ logo embossed into the papers themselves. One thing that stands out is the extremely long filter. Luckily, due to the size of these cones and their expansion, you can still pack more than enough into these things.
The cones taste and smoke well, just like your regular unflavored king size. Worth noting is the build quality, with no creases or air leaks on the seam.
Overall, these cones provide an avenue for people low on time to roll up a high quality joint. They’re made for a purpose and perform it well.
Phillies: Blunt
March 14th, 2007 by Alex
One of the most well-known methods to roll up some bud is with the classic Phillies Blunt.
| theFreshScent Product Recap | |
|---|---|
| Category | Blunts |
| Company | Phillies |
| Made In | Florida |
| Pros | Cheap, found everywhere |
| Cons | Requires patience |
| Price | $.70 to $1.00 |
| tFS Rating | 7.5/10 |
The taste isn’t anything spectacular, it’s actually what you’d expect. The smoke is light & pleasant, not heavy at all. Phillies burn at a faster pace but will be more than adequate for two (and up to four) people.
If you ever find yourself stuck in a situation where you need to roll but don’t have a nice wrap, just find a local mart and grab one of these guys. They’re found all over the place, making it the most commonly stocked blunt wrap around. It’ll do the job without busting your wallet and that’s always a plus.
Blunt Wrap Magnum: Coconut Vanilla
March 8th, 2007 by Tim
When presented with vanilla-flavored smoke accessories, I tend to hold higher standards. If I believe the product falls even slightly below the bar, then I consider the attempt unsuccessful. Luckily there’s nothing to worry about on this one, Blunt Wrap Magnum: Coconut Vanilla.
| theFreshScent Product Recap | |
|---|---|
| Category | Blunts |
| Company | Blunt Wrap |
| Made In | Domincan Republic |
| Pros | Pleasant aroma |
| Cons | Low on flavor |
| Price | $1.50 |
| tFS Rating | 8.0/10 |
Like always, Blunt Wrap manages to pull off a perfect amount of moisture, an essential part to any presentation. Kingpin, are you taking notes? The smoke is smooth without all of the harsh qualities usually existent in multiple flavored blunts. Unfortunately, there’s no added taste, which (in my opinion) is becoming more regularly neglected by blunt manufacturers.
Bottom line: This wrap should suit the average smoker (and vanilla enthusiast) unless the lack of smoke essence is a real deal-breaker.
