Naples Man Eats Pot, Gets Caught

April 30th, 2009 by Rick

About the amount Carlos "Munchies" Mauricio Rodriguez had...

A 21-year old man was pulled over last Friday for running a red light in Naples, Florida. When the officer came up to the driver’s door, he noticed that the suspect was eating something and had what appeared to be weed, on his clothes. The officer pulled the suspect out of the car and found that the suspect was eating his marijuana stash.

The suspect, Carlos Mauricio Rodriguez, was then charged with marijuana possession and tampering with evidence. All together, 6.87 grams were recovered.

How can you be charged for tampering with something that you own before it becomes evidence? Odd.

I was arrested yesterday in Miami for the same charges. I was surrounded by 3 unmarked cop cars that jumped in front of my moving car with pistols in hand. I took my half eight out of the bag and tried to break up the bud and throw it around my back seat, and apparently that is “tampering with evidence” A FELONY CHARGE in Florida.

Thankful to be packing my bong in the a/c of my house again!!!

That’s crazy… a felony? I’m guessing this other guy was trying to work his way down from a felony if he had more than 7 ounces to start. Damn. Good to hear you made it out of there and back home. Toke up, you deserve it after that fiasco.
