Study: People Predisposed to Love Cocaine

No, not just because it makes you think you’re an amazing conversationalist while still having nothing to say. It turns out it’s more about genetics.
A study shows that there’s a genetic link found both in whites and blacks that leads to the paranoia associated with cocaine abuse and the addictive control it has over the user.
Published in General Psychiatry, the study points to prevalent genetic markers and a lot of other medical gobbledygook that basically means you have a 1 in 2 (or 3) chance of having the genes that say: “I love to do coke until the party stops!” Rather than, “I can do a line and walk away.”
Or as Rick James would say:
Cocaine is a helluva drug.
