Beer Run During Undercover Duty

After admitting his mistake, Clay County Sheriff Joe Shook said many of his constituents will still support him — despite being caught going for a beer run while on undercover duty.
I’m the last person to give somebody shit for having a beer, but you think his voters would have forgiven him if it were *gasp* a joint?
You think it would be treated the same way in North Carolina? Then how can you treat booze any differently? They had to have driven to the bust where they were waiting for the suspect when Shook made the beer run.
