Aussies Create Internet Drug Network
January 28th, 2009 by Perry

Using a social-networking site, Australians have created a way to monitor and exchange information about the international drug market. One of the first things it led to was a realization of how high a price the largest island nation was paying for drugs.
Among a few of the prices listed in US Dollars ($):
- Weed: ~15/gram; ~40/eighth; ~70/quarter
- Speed: ~50/2.5pts; ~100/half gram; ~180/gram; ~500/8Ball
- Ice: ~100/2.5pts; ~200/half gram; ~400/gram
- Heroin: ~50/street cap
- Ecstasy: ~20/pill; ~100/5 pills; ~160/10 pills; ~900/100 pills
- GHB: ~3.50/a mil
The forum also has several rules about what you can and can’t say to keep this cyber operation on the narrow edge of what’s considered legal in the land down unda.

theFreshScent uses gravatars as a way to liven up your (and our) comments. It takes a second to sign up, upload an image, and then you're good to go on any gravater-enabled site. Join the adventure.
To create a live link, simply type the URL (including http://) or email address and we will make it a live link for you. You can put up to 3 URLs in your comments. Line breaks and paragraphs are automatically converted — no need to use
or
tags.
Anything spammy is detected and put into a queue, so if you have a bunch of links in your comment and don't see it appear, that's probably why.
