School Special = Pot, Cocaine & Tampons

January 22nd, 2009 by Alex

TamponChick.jpgIn a refreshing story about teenage romance and their brush with the law, Elisha Yanulaque has managed to create one hell of a disturbing association between cocaine and tampons.

Elisha and a 17-year old boy friend (space intentional) were ditching school for the time honored tradition of “hanging out.” Too bad neighbors in the Sheradon Plaza Park area had been contacting the cops about kids playing hookie, drinking and getting stoned in the park.

Police rolled on Elisha around 12:30pm and did the usual search and seizures. They found pot and a the plastic tube from inside a tampon with cocaine residue inside it. She’s now facing 3 different charges of possession – less than 20 grams of marijuana / cocaine / narcotics equipment.

Her friend, who is a minor, also got charged, but those haven’t been released yet.

Oh come on.. Don’t kids today know how to go about smoking, drinking and all around having a good mellow time? Surely they can find better places than the park to do the fun stuff. Although, this article did make me snicker a few times. Tampon tubes.. it’s a nifty idea.
