Idaho Not Likely to Embrace MMJ
September 30th, 2008 by Perry

But hey, at least the effort’s there.
Most political pundits don’t expect the measure to pass, but Idahoans are putting medical marijuana on the ballot. A similar measure to relax the state’s stance failed by a vote of 21-9 in June so the odds are unlikely. But, at least it’s getting on the ballot.
The fact that lawmakers are making it a priority is a good thing. Hopefully, we can address it further nationally when our economy is pulled out of the toilet and our foreign policy isn’t such a mess.
