Ralph Nader: Reformer, Watchdog, Asshole
September 19th, 2008 by Perry
Guys, hear me out. When I was younger, I really believed in what Nader was doing.
Then I saw what Nader was really doing.
I think he made his point very clear in the 2000 election, that America’s two-party system is unfair and does nothing for the American political scene but proliferate partisan agendas. I think we’ve all learned that Ralph. But what we also learned is that liberal third-party candidates such as yourself, take votes directly from the mainstream liberal party, the Democrats. And it’s not like you aren’t aware of this.
You have no shot, you or your running mate Bob Barr (the former AG who came out against incarcerating drug users.) So I’m only gonna say this once: Stop being a selfish asshole and join a cabinet if you want change, before you give the Republicans another election.
I don’t think I could be any more clear. Yes, Ralph has a right to run. But honestly his whole campaign is the equivalent of a flag burn in its nature and end result. Just because you have a right to do something, doesn’t mean you have to exercise that right for the sake of being a prick.
