Phillies Blunt

One of the most well-known methods to roll up some bud is with the classic Phillies Blunt.

The looks of the Phillies Blunt isn’t all that special. They’re usually very dry but that aspect doesn’t make them entirely unmanageable. With a few licks, the paper can be twisted to make a quick blunt. Just be careful cracking the cigar open.

The taste isn’t anything spectacular, it’s actually what you’d expect. The smoke is light & pleasant, not heavy at all. Phillies burn at a faster pace but will be more than adequate for two (and up to four) people.

If you ever find yourself stuck in a situation where you need to roll but don’t have a nice wrap, just find a local mart and grab one of these guys. They’re found all over the place, making it the most commonly stocked blunt wrap around. It’ll do the job without busting your wallet and that’s always a plus.

I get these nice and fresh by the boxes! Chocolate Phillies are my favorite..burns so slow and smells great! The drying is not really a concern if you been rolling for a while. If your a total amateur then you may have some problems other than that this is good review!

Phillies are the worst…I’m sorry. Lots of flavors but too dry and they burn too fast. Swishers are next in line…better quality and usually fresher. But the best blunt is the classic Dutch. Dutch Masters Palma are by far are my favorite. The tobacco leaf is very light in body and has a very light hint of vanilla. Which makes it ideal if you are using headies you want to taste. The roll takes some time…but then again people who take pride in there blunts understand.

A bit of advice: If you remove the vains in the outer leaf of the Dutch it will burn smoother and canoe less.

Remove the “vains”? Ive smoked honey dutches and chocolate phillies back to back and they both burn smooth and slow when rolled and SIZED right. Dutches are longer than phillies..last time i bought a set of phillies it was like around 40 of them..i had maybe crack..but like i said if your not good at rolling then it will be a problem..but if you are a good roller, then cracks is not an issue…

The wrap you’re talking about is made by Blunt Wrap. It’s a Platinum edition, whatever that means.

    Check it out.

    Hey K,

Yeah i can spell…I ment to say “veins”. The veins i’m speaking of is from the outer leaf of the Dutch. It you unwrap it you will see where the leaf has these raised veins that can be removed to help the blunt smoke better and not canoe.

Its a personal preference but it does make for a much smoother smoke.

Sup Mobius-I’m not the type to get on someone about grammar/spelling..i was seriously just saying “veins” as in “how do you remove those??”

I knew excatly what your talking about, but damn that must be real time consuming to remove that..and doesn’t it rip the leaf?

Srry this is going to have to be the first post i have ever made on the net like this becuase i have to let you guys in on something that has been around for a bit, i used to love phillies i still do. Swishers are the harshest blunt i have ever smoked on and we burn a lot of blunts in cali, But the best blunt by far have to be BACKWOODS, they are smooth and easy to roll, you should give them a shot im sure you will have a new fav.
