Chef Boyarweed: Dank Brownies

While checking out the edibles at my local dispensary, I decided to pick up Chef Boyarweed’s Dank Brownie and it made my night turn out especially relaxing.

This brownie doesn’t stray far from its dank name. It packs a powerful punch that starts to take effect fairly quickly (for an edible) and lasts for several hours. Again, this ranges from person to person, based on his or her size/weight and the amount of food in the stomach at the time of digestion. In my personal case, it lasted for almost four hours.

The smell doesn’t signal any potency within. Unfortunately, when eating this little delectable, it doesn’t provide the best chocolate flavor… largely due to the sizable amounts of marijuana mixed in (which you will definitely notice). Just wash it down with a glass of milk and you’ll be good to go.

One thing I wish was on the packaging was the amount of bud used in the recipe and also the strain type. Still, it is well worth the $10 price tag. Overall, a great edible that doesn’t break your wallet and leave you asking, “That’s it?”

If it works for you as it did for me, you’ll be looking to increase your brownie budget.

when cooking with marijuana, it is almost always best to first make cannabis butter and then add it into whatever recipe you are preparing…this way, you will not end up with buds/stems mixed in with whatever you cook, and the weed taste will be more subtle :)
