One thing I have to say about this Sour Diesel is don’t under estimate it! For only $20 a gram this is a powerful sativa/indica breed. Sour diesels have always been a crowd pleaser and now I know why.

The leaves are sticky with a heavy dusting of crystals. The purple isn’t very evident but the green is nice and intense in each bud. There is a medium-high skunky smell. Right from the smell you know this strain has something to prove. It hits hard in the face and stays in the chest area and lasts for at least a good hour and a half.

This bud packs a powerful punch so be careful. However, I recommend putting on some beats (Rza – Afro Samurai is a good choice,) sit back, and let it do its job!

I greatly enjoyed this strain and for the price it is a solid purchase. You definitely can’t go wrong with this find. If spotted, grab it!

Most buds that deliver these kinds of results are usually upwards of $25-$30 a gram. Expect a happy and bright high right in the center of your dome. Visually beautiful, it’s light neon green leafs and red hair provide awesome coloration and character. This bud sparkles. Pungent, flavorful and sticky, I would recommend this strain to beginners and connoisseurs alike. I’ll give it a 9 One of my favorites.

4. matt Says: July 26th, 2007 at 12:50 am this is definatley my favorite high and i spend less than most buds at the medical shop. it was definatley the bud that i fealt produced the normal sit on your ass and laugh high. i would chose this over any kush any day cause there are so many thc crystals for about 2/3 of the price. honestly i am giving it a 9.5 upwards of a 10 because of its its overall beauty high and taste. and i dissagree about the high being short. maybe its cause i smoked a whole blunt but i dont know. i think nick nailed the nail on the head when he said that it is sticky and pungent.

Strains that have come through this year alone at this price are Trainwreck, Grape Skunk, & a Kush/Bubblegum gear, I am not sure of the name though. Yes I am 100%sure it is the Sour D because it tastes like you are sipping on Minute Maid lemonade while driving in a car with the windows down as you speed past the still fresh carcass of a road kill skunk. People seem to be getting their hands on some good genetics here and the chance I have to buy at “wholesale” prices makes my lungs smile. Lets Be real Says: December 10th, 2007 at 10:48 am If you live in Northern Cali of course you are going to get Sour D for less than $400 because that is where most of the medical marijuana is grown and the stuf that gets rejected from the shops is then sold on the streets. So obviously you will be paying less. If you live on the east coast, especially anywhere from NYC to Boston down to Miami, you are not going to get Sour D for anything less than $450 an O. Unless you buy in bulk or you know the grower. If you are getting it for less it might be Sour D but the quality is not top notch. Also most of hte Bud on the east coast comes from Canada and since the US dollar is so weak prices on lbs have gone up anywhere from $200-250. The prices for NY Diesel, Hashberry, Hazes, Grapefruit, Orange Crush, etc are anywhere from $410-425 for legit shit and if you are looking for Kush or stuff like Sour D its $440-525 depending on the location.

When i smoked it i said this shit isn’t nothing. i took like 8 hits of it and felt nothing. little did i know 10 minutes later i was really high. we were outside and it literaly scared the shit out of me. i went inside layed on the bed. my heart was pounding it hurt so bad i thought i was gonna die. when i moved my bones cracked it was terrible and felt insanely bad and it was scary. after an hour i felt great and had a happy high its a great weed but ooo dont take to many hits very fast 8 big hits killed me.

I just picked up an oz. of Sour D the other day, and im glad I did. Very dense with tons of moisture to it. doenst crumble or turn into powder like the cheaper shit, and you dont have to overfill your piece to get a blasted high. i just had a small bowl of it an hour ago. still feeling good and ready to get working on that ounce some more lol. but I do notice too that it doesnt seem to remain intense for much more than an hour or two at the most. but I am an experienced everyday smoker that usually has connections to really top notch strains grown deep in the country.

As soon as I unrolled to baggie, my mouth started to water. Now I smoke a lot, and I only packed a little bit into my bong. I knew this was some good bud, but I hadn’t experienced any top of the line strains like this before. After 3 rips, I was knocked on my ass and I decided I wouldn’t be moving for a while, and passed out right then and there for a couple hours. By far the best I’ve ever smoked and my new favorite. Sour D in Southern California isn’t bad on price. I used to pick up quarter pounds of super fire outdoor Sour D for $950, so it’s right around 235-240 a zip. The indoor stuff would be more around $1075 or $1100. Personally, I always thought outdoor has smoked way cleaner and tastier.

I really favor Orange Kush just because of the flavor but if I had to say what was my second favorite was it would be Sour Diesel. I don’t see how everyone gets rediculous prices for it but I also don’t see how anybody can get it lower than 300 a Oz. I understand in like Cali shit is way cheap but it’s just a whole different game here on the east coast. Real, legit sour D does definitely go for like 500 a zip around here – that’s not a considered a great deal but it’s not horrible. Delivery services in the city sell like between 1.5 and 2 gs for 50 bucks and mad people buy it. Non delivery, like if you know a dude who gets it or whatever, you won’t be paying less than 65 or 70 for an eighth generally speaking unless the kid is hooking you up. Now if you’re talking buying in bulk, like an lb or some shit, prices can drop to around 400 a zip or maybe a little lower (unless you are hooked up to the max and/or a mad high level type dude, and even then cali level prices are rare) – but it’s not unheard of for it to sell at over 7 grand for an lb. Sucks but thats just the way shit is over here. If anyone east coasters think I’m way off base here let me know…
