Death of a Prohibition

One of the blogs I read had a short but thought-provoking post yesterday. Exactly 1 day and 73 years ago the 21st Ammendment ended Prohibition in the United States.
We’re currently in the middle of another prohibition - this one perhaps even more baseless than the first. Unfortunately, the government we deal with today is an altogether different beast than the one from the 1930’s.
Let’s hope history repeats itself and rationality wins after all.
