残念ながら赤砂糖は背景とちょうどちょっと混じるが、されたパックから金覆いの葉を突き出させる小さい事を言うことができる。 They aren’t as uber-infused with a strawberry essence as other brands.
As more manufacturers enter the game, we’re going to see very similar products. Even ZenSmoke, which has multiple lines underneath its brand name, puts out similar shit compared to other papers in their own product line. The strawberry papers from Brown Sugar are good. They won’t blow your socks off, but won’t disappoint either.
Border Busts on the Rise
November 21st, 2006 by Alex
As you can probably tell from the increased amount of Arrests/Busts articles being posted on tFS, it’s weed growing (and transporting) season. Authorities are reporting that marijuana seizures are up nearly 15% this year. That’s a jump from 155,000 pounds to 177,500 pounds of seized crop. Damn that’s a lot of herb.
| Recent Marijuana Busts | |
|---|---|
| Mexico | 300 lbs. (high grade) |
| New Mexico | 2,176 lbs. |
| Texas | 3,500 lbs. |
| Total (Recent) | 35,976 lbs. |
| Total (USA) | 177,500 lbs. |
So why is the grow output and bust rate going up this year? After a major bust in Texas, Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier had this to say :
Because of the heavy rains and favorable growing conditions we anticipate this will be one of many large marijuana loads to be seized along the border. Large loads are becoming more prevalent, since the fall season (started), and it isn’t likely to end any time soon, as the marijuana harvesting season is far from over.
It’s basic supply & demand. The US will always have a high demand for marijuana, no matter how much is grown. The increase in crop means more delivery attempts. This gives US authorities more chances to locate and confiscate marijuana. Looks like tFS won’t be short on news articles any time soon.

Genius Calls 911 After DEA Confiscates Stash
November 21st, 2006 by Alex
It’s a well known fact that marijuana use is the most freely tolerated in San Francisco and its surrounding areas. They have a liberal mayor and supportive government. Well, those things can only take you so far when the big, bad federal watchdogs are around.
This one is almost too funny to be true, but some unlucky son of a bitch in San Francisco got a seriously raw deal. Walking near the Philip Burton Federal Building around 1PM, a 20 year old, un-identified man was carrying his baby - a box filled with 1.5 pounds of herb and 12 ounces of hash - to the local marijuana co-op. His plan was to sell the greenage for $4,000 a pound and use it to fund a snowboarding trip to Tahoe. Unfortunately, he never got that far.
DEA agents, also near the federal building, were going to lunch when they smelled the un-mistakable stank of buddha. Seeing this man carrying a box with a well known hydroponics logo on it, they asked him to show its contents. Figuring this was San Francisco, and everyone smoked, he showed them the greenery. Big mistake. The DEA agents flashed their badges and confiscated his crop. It wasn’t enough marijuana to prosecute under federal law, but the government still considers it contraband, so it was taken anyway.
Most people would curse their luck and go home, but not this dude. He followed the DEA agents back to the federal building and tried to go in through the employee entrance. When he finally got the picture that he wasn’t getting his herb back, he called 911 and tried to convince the police to come out and get it back for him. Which, of course, they didn’t do.
Sucks to be that guy. But, maybe this has taught him to be a little more low-profile with his crop in the future.

Scrolley Tips
November 20th, 2006 by Alex
There are two camps when it comes to rolling â filtered or un-filtered. Pros and cons surround both, easier to roll for un-filtered versus more effort for filtered. Harsher smoke with un-filtered papers and smoother with filtered. In the end, it all comes down to personal preference.

| Cons | Could be thicker |

Sizing on the Scrolley’s is just about perfect. They’re big & tall enough to handle a fatty roll, but can be ripped down for smaller-sized joints/blunts. Each pack comes with 40 strips and are all perforated for easy removal. One thing I would like to see is a filter made specially for spliff smokers; something that reduces the toxins and tar from tobacco but leaves in everything THC-related.
Overall, you can’t go wrong with Scrolley Tips, they do exactly what they’re made for.

Rocket Scientist Breaks into Prison
November 20th, 2006 by Tim
I’m not a card-carrying MENSA member, but there are a few things in this world I learned instinctively. Let’s take jail for instance. Jail is a place I stay away from, especially voluntarily. Looks like a genius in England learned this the hard way.
An intruder snuck over an 8ft tall fence into the HMP (Her Majesty’s Prison) Kirkham facility. The plan was to stash drugs and other goodies for his brother to sell to other inmates. While trying to climb back over the fence, he was cornered by prison guards and arrested. They found his stash hidden inside a garbage can.
So what was worth breaking into jail to deliver? Let’s take a look:
Heroin
Weed
Steroids
3 liters of vodka
3 bottles of Southern Comfort
3 bottles of Bacardi
80 cigarettes
18 DVDs
2 mobile phones
Calling cards
Phone chargers
And, a partridge in a pear tree
You could probably open a small retail store with that sort of inventory. Not surprisingly, both the dude who jumped the fence and his accomplice were caught. Now they can all hang out in their favorite place - jail. Together. Again.

aLedinha: Mini Cellulose Rolling Papers
November 20th, 2006 by Alex
To follow up on the review of aLeda King Size Papers, we decided to get a hold of their little brother - aLedinha.
I went pretty in-depth with the last review, so this post will be more light weight with some additional observations. First, the aLedinha’s have the same distinct, embossed packaging just like it’s big brother. It also has those annoying little closing flaps. This pack comes with 50 transparent, cellulose based leaves. The packaging is pretty sturdy and won’t bend if you throw it into your backpack or anything. As far as size, they are equivalent to any 1¼” papers.

| Company | aLeda |

| Pros | Odorless, tasteless |
| Cons | Tough low-light roll |

| tFS Rating | 8.0/10 |
It’s obvious there is a lot of interest in these papers. Maybe people just think transparent stuff is just plain cool, who knows? What’s for sure is these are healthier than your average paper and fun to roll. Not a bad combination at all.
