Mayoral Candidate Arrested for Trafficking
October 28th, 2006 by Tim
Eh, when you look like this guy, this sorta news shouldn’t be too shocking. I mean, dude, at least take off your pot beanie for the picture. Douglas McKay, a Candidate for Mayor in Thunder Bay, Ontario was arrested in September on possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. On Sept 4th, police found at least 20 lbs. of weed from an apartment he had recently been evicted from. He states in his
Candidate Column:
“The reason why I’m running and there is many but the main reason is that I, feel that if we legalized cannibis, we could reverse the ecomonic downfall that Thunder Bay is experiencing. This was done in Amsterdam and now they have people flying in from all over the world, spending lots of money”.
He’s expected back in court November 23rd. Sounds like we’ve got a master in macro-economics on our hands. With his sharp intellect and obvious international schooling, he should definitely win the title of Mayor.
