Denver Legalization Initiative
August 8th, 2006 by Alex
Yesterday,
Safer Colorado turned in the 130,000 signatures needed to place a state-level initiative on Colorado’s November vote. The initiative is defined as a
statutory change that would legalize possession of one ounce or less of marijuana for people 21 and older.
Now, I don’t have to tell you how awesome that is. What’s even better, is that if this law is able to pass in one state it has the chance to pass in others. So, any Colorado voters who were unaware of this initiative - now you know. Go out there and do your part.
